In the summer of 2024, Midnight by Navarro’s launched at Hudson Yards in New York City as a limited-time pop-up in partnership with Navarro’s Wine and Oak View Group. This one-of-a-kind concept blended a restaurant, wine bar, and live theatre, featuring performances by Grammy-winning trumpeter Brian Newman and his NYC Quintet.
I played a key creative role in bringing the Midnight experience to life, guiding the project from concept to execution. I worked closely with Christian Navarro on the architectural remodel and overall design of the space, developed the complete brand identity including the logo, visual aesthetic, and tone, and produced all creative materials such as menus, food and interior photography, and social media content. Below is the original brand deck I developed for Midnight by Navarro’s, which established the foundation for the visual and creative direction of the project and positioned the concept as a future investment opportunity.
I also helped shape the promotional video featuring Brian Newman, collaborating with photographer Abdulai Sesay and working hands on throughout the production process. In addition to content creation, I participated in live interviews with Chef Ryan Kluver, assisted with stage setup, and supported event planning for both the restaurant and theatre launch.
In just two months, I helped grow Midnight’s combined restaurant and theatre social media following to more than 30,000.
Although the website and social media channels were later archived by Oak View Group for future initiatives, the brand’s impact and momentum were undeniable.
